Our Best Meeting Celeb Tips!

Here are some ways we have been successful in meeting celebrities:

1)Use the Internet! We use a variety of websites to find out what stars will be where. Some of the best are
Onlocationvacations.com -for movie and show filmings
Celebritybooksigningsandevents.com -for book signings
Oceanup.com -celeb gossip and occasional tips
Google.com -type in the celeb you care about and info will surely come up
Twitter.com -many celebs write where they are so follow them!

2)Ask around!
When you get to the location of a star, ask everyone working there for details and any questions you may have. You never know who will help you (we got VIP once just by asking a worker).

3)Don't be shy!
Many times we are the only fans asking for pictures! Surprisingly celebrities generally don't mind taking them so why not try?

4)Always be early!
There are always many fans just like you at each event, especially for bigger stars! The earlier you get there, the earlier you can meet a star or be closer to the front of the stage.

5)If there's a will, there's a way!
It may seem like there is no way to meet a star or get into a private event, but if you really try, you may have luck! Many times we have been told we couldn't meet a star or take a picture, but with enough persistence and talking to enoug people, we are almost always successful! Of course listen to authority (like security guards) if they say no, they mean no!

6)Don' t be rude!
Whenever talking to people who work at the event or the stars, use your manners. People are more likely to help you if you are polite. A few times, we were told not to yell out to the star (like Joe Jonas) or else he wouldn't take pictures. The crowd didn't scream when he came out and he took pictures with everyone!

7)Finally, be patient!
Celebrities are known to be late to events so you may have to wait hours to meet them or see them! If you love them enough, it will be worth it, so stick around!

Meeting celebrities can take some planning, but is always a lot of fun!!!

Fashion's Night Out 2011

The best night of our lives!!! Kidding, but it was definitely in the top 10!

We started our night with a plan to meet Lea Michele, Ryan Murphy, and Darren Criss from Glee at Saks 5th Ave. We had to buy a FNO item. After waiting a few hours we got to meet them and have them sign our t-shirts. We weren't allowed to take pictures with them, so we took a few from the line. The three of them seemed sweet, but mostly spoke with each other and not the fans. We were able to talk to Lea for a little while.

We also saw Anna Wintour at Saks since she came to take pictures with Lea and Ryan.

We ran up because we knew Kris Humpries (Kim Kardashian's hubby) was going to be there! We just made it to see him walking out.

We then walked along Madison Ave hoping to find something. We passed the Coach store where we knew Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live) would be. We walked to the bar (he was serving drinks). We made our way to the front to get a picture. He was so nice.

We then went to a few stores like David Yurman and Stuart Weitzman because some celbs were supposed to be there. We were dissapointed to find out that many stores were invitation only until late at night when the stars would be gone.

We saw Katie Couric on the way to our next store.

We decided to take a chance and go to Dolce and Gabbana where we knew Asher Roth and Justin Bieber would be. We were expecting a mob scene. There was a line to get in, but we found another entrance, where we got in right away! We quickly made our way to the crowd just in time to see Asher perform. Justin Bieber and Usher came out (we could only get blurry pics of them). 

After we took a few pictures with Asher Roth, who was really really nice (I know we think everyone is nice!), we looked up a few floors and saw Ashley Benson standing there. We called to her and she waved, but they wouldn't let us upstairs because Justin Bieber and Usher were there.

We went up after they all left just to look around. We saw a group of people and some photographers in a room and went over to check it out. Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl) walked by. We called to him to take a picture and he happily took one even though his security guards said no.

We also saw the model Tyson Beckford in the store. We couldn't believe our luck! We were the only ones who tried to take a pic with Chace, so it's always worth a try to push your way to a celeb then ask for a pic or autograph! Trust us we always do!

On the way back to the train station we saw Ben Stiller (who was a little rude and didn't take a picture with us, but he did apologize) and Alex and Simon Mccord (RHNY).
