Currently Crying...

We are absolutely DEVASTATED to hear that Katy Perry and Russell Brand are getting divorced. They were one of our favorite couples and we hate to see them break up. 

Russell filed for divorce due to "irreconcilable differences" and said, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

A few days ago, Russell was spotted without his wedding ring.

We wish the best for both of them and truly do hope that they can remain friends!

New Years Resolutions!

Every year we love to make resolutions that we intend to follow through with during the New Year.

Serious Resolutions

1. Get healthy! -This one is always hard. We promise to try every year, but in 2012, we mean business!
2. Be nicer- We are always picking on our little sister, but we are going away to college soon and want to leave on a good note!
3. Do more community service- Giving back is so important, so our goal is to help the needy as much as we can!
4. Don't be Lazy- We promise to get off our couch and start being more productive.

Fun Resolutions

1. Meet more celebrities!- We want to meet as many stars as we can (Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Tyler Posey, Kellan Lutz, etc)!
2. Make friends with more security guards!- These guys can be the way into VIP, so we need to become bff.
3. Go to Saturday Night Live- Watching one of our fave shows being taped seems amazing!
4. Blog more- We want to update our blog MUCH more!
5. Get a celeb to tweet us!- Our dream is to have someone we love write to us @thetwinspinblog
6. BECOME FAMOUS- Much easier said than done, it is the ultimate resolution!
7. Get to 1,000,000 views- We need YOUR help on this one (tell your friends about us)!

The Twin Spin's Best Celeb Meetings 2011!

This has been a great year for us! We met a lot of celebs and went to some amazing concerts! 

Our best concerts of the year were.....

Maroon 5!

We loved: 

Train and Matt Nathanson (other acts of the night) 

How hot Adam was!

The location (on the beach).

All of the songs!

A close tie was Katy Perry!

We loved:

Her outfits.

Our seats (VERY close to the stage).

Her energy!

The way she interacted with the fans (she brought some fans onstage and took a picture with one girl).

Our best celebrity meetings.....

Lady Gaga

She was sooo nice!

We were so excited that we won a contest to meet her!

The pictures were awesome.

She kissed Rachel!

Perez Hilton

He's the only celeb we went to with both a signing AND a discussion, and we loved what he had to say.

He wrote in our book, "Hope to see you on tv".

He was incredibly nice!

We felt like we could gossip with him for hours.

Adam Levine

Hottest man on earth (or one of them).

So sweet (he let us take a lot of pictures).

Hot Chelle Rae, Lea Michele, Seth Meyers, Chace Crawford, Annalynne McCord, & Minka Kelly

We also saw many celebrities we didn't get to meet....

Big Time Rush

We actually saw them twice this year and they seemed so sweet each time.

They shook every fans hands.

They're cute!

Khloe Kardashian

We felt like we were standing near a legend (of reality tv anyway).

She's so pretty.

Being so close to a Kardashian is FABULOUS.

Our SNL Attempt!

This past Saturday, Katy Perry hosted Saturday Night Live, so we tried to go!

We went to NBC Studios in NYC at 5 a.m. on Saturday to wait for standby tickets.

They gave them out at 7 a.m. and we got them (we were #'s 49 and 50)! We were able to choose the rehearsal or the real taping.

We had to then go back at 7:15 (we chose the rehearsal) and wait on line again to see if they would need us.

Turns out we were one person away from getting in!

While we were so disappointed that we didn't get in, we think it is worth it to try again for standby tix for a less popular host.

To get definite tix for our fave show, you have to email SNL in August, and they will let you know if you've won a week in advance.

We also tried to wait around for the stars of Saturday Night Live, but the security guards kicked us out lol!

While we were online, we got to see Alec Baldwin who was a guest that night! :)

KATY PERRY!

Sunday night we saw KATY PERRY on her California Dreams Tour at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ! IT WAS AMAZING!

She is an unbelievable performer and so talented!

It was such a fun show with so many costume changes, cool backgrounds, and audience interaction! She even brought up some fans on stage!

We highly recommend checking out one of her shows if you get the chance! Her cd is also a must!
