The Hunger Games Review!

Last night, at midnight, we saw The Hunger Games and WE LOVED IT!

We read all three books awhile ago and became obsessed!

The movie was amazing because it followed the book so well!

The Twin Spin loved:

-EVERYTHING! LOL :)

-The Cast... They could not have casted it more perfectly!

-Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen: SO beautiful, so talented, and we love her speaking voice!

 

-Lenny Kravitz as Cinna: Excellent performance, I think everyone fell in love with Cinna!

 

-Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne: Umm HELLO GORGEOUS! After reading the books, we became huge Gale fans! We think him and Katniss love each other so much and should be together! Liam far exceeded our expectations!

We saw Liam at a Miley Cyrus concert!

-Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark: Although we are Team Gale, you can't not like Peeta! He is just so sweet! Josh was perfect! Girls were literally swooning! Ha!

 

The rest of the tributes: Amandla Stenburg as Rue: So cute and smart!, Alexander Ludwig as Cato: HOT HOT HOT!, Leven Rambin as Glimmer: Beautiful, Dayo Okeniyi as Thresh, and Isabelle Fuhrman as Clove!

-Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman: You won't stop smiling with him!

-Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, and Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy!

 

-Taylor Swift's "Eye's Open" for the soundtrack! 

-The crazy outfits in the capitol!

-Cinna's gold eyeliner!

 

The Twin Spin didn't love:

-Gale should have been in it more!

-A few of the camera angles made us a little dizzy!

-The movie did not show as many of Katniss' thoughts as the book did, but that's understandable!

Overall, The Hunger Games deserves an A+ and

we recommend it to everyone: girls and guys!

A BRADTASTIC Evening!

Last night was one of the BEST nights of our lives! 

We had the honor of meeting the fabulous, Brad Goreski!

We've loved Brad from when he was Rachel Zoe's assistant and now he has his own show on Bravo called It's A Brad, Brad World!

He was doing a book signing in Northvale, NJ, last night, to promote his new book Born To Be Brad: My Life and Style, So Far! We can not wait to read it!

First, he spoke about his life, his style, and took questions from the crowd.

Next, he signed books, posed for pictures, and shared many laughs!

During his talk, Brad said, "No one cares if you're tired"... SO TRUE!

When it was our turn to meet Brad, we told him we loved the quote and then Rachel said, "But I'm actually so tired!", as a joke! Brad thought it was hilarious and we were all hysterical! 

Our little sister, Sophie, told Brad she loves to act and the two were chatting about their favorite musicals! So sweet!

After a couple minutes of laughing and pictures (Brad had to pause when signing our books because he was laughing so hard!), Amanda said, "Rest up!"... Brad was laughing so hard, he even snorted! LOL

Needless to say, it was an amazing night and we encourage you all to go out and buy Born To Be Brad!

Sex & The CW!

Great news for Sex & The City fans! The Carrie Diaries, a novel by Candace Bushnell, about Carrie Bradshaw before Sex & The City is coming to the CW, as a TV show!

The novel focuses on Carrie during her senior year of high school in the early 1980's!

We read it and loved it! 

The producers of Gossip Girl and the original Sex & The City are all on board!

We think Emma Roberts would be PERFECT for the part!

Dollhouse Review!

We recently read Dollhouse by Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian.

We want to start off by saying we love the Kardashian's and can't believe they found the time to write a book during their busy schedules!

But.... Dollhouse is not our favorite book!

The Twin Spin loves:

• Reading books about characters living in LA (our dream!).
• It was a really quick and easy read.
• There were some really good jokes!
• We were BEYOND happy they dedicated the book to their fans. 

The Twin Spin did not love:

• The plot has too much going on that didn't make total sense.
• The characters were not too likable (to us anyway).
• Everything was sooo dramatic. Kass, of course, had to be the best of the best in her class. Kamille became incredibly famous just because of one modeling job. 

The Twin Spin also wanted to point out that drinking and driving, underage drinking and drug use, and driving and texting are NEVER okay.

In the book, those problems were casually done, which we know the Kardashian's are against, but they didn't make a great effort to say it was wrong, but instead made it like it was no big deal.

Overall we give the book a B.

If you want to read something Kardashian related, that is REALLY GOOD, hurry up and get Glamour magazine with them on the cover, before it is out of stores!

Today was AMAZEBALLS! We met Perez Hilton, our blogging idol! He was SO sweet! 

It was at a book signing at Book-Ends in Ridgewood, NJ. He first did a discussion, where he told us about the book and answered our questions. The discussion made us love him all the more because we thought we were talking to our best friend since we agreed with everything he said!

Skins (U.S.)! Despite what the critics think, we love this show! So much drama = so much fun (as long as it's not our life) :)
